The inves­ti­ga­tion of macro­scopic fluc­tu­a­tions in ran­dom phys­i­cal processes is a joint project with the Insti­tute of The­o­ret­i­cal and Exper­i­men­tal Bio­physics of the Russ­ian Acad­emy of Sci­ences, Pushchino Sci­en­tific Cen­ter.

Over a period of more than 40 years ran­dom phys­i­cal processes were eval­u­ated accord­ing to a spe­cial sta­tis­ti­cal method under the guid­ance of the Bio­physi­cist Simon E. Shnoll at the Moscow Lomonosov Uni­ver­sity and the Pushchino Sci­en­tific Cen­tre of the Russ­ian Acad­emy of Sci­ences. As a result one was able to deter­mine one of the most fun­da­men­tal find­ing in mod­ern science.

Prof. Simon E. Shnoll and his col­leges dis­cov­ered an entirely new phys­i­cal phe­nom­e­non: the sto­chas­tic of ran­dom phys­i­cal processes, e.g. radioac­tive decay, depends on the astro­nomic point in time and the astro­nomic posi­tion vec­tor of the measurement.

Prof. Shnoll is the head of the lab­o­ra­tory of Phys­i­cal Bio­chem­istry at the Insti­tute of The­o­ret­i­cal and Exper­i­men­tal Bio­physics of the Russ­ian Acad­emy of Sci­ences in Pushchino. His team was able to prove that sta­tis­ti­cal fre­quency dis­tri­b­u­tions (his­tograms) of simul­ta­ne­ous ran­dom processes pos­sess an iden­ti­cal, process inde­pen­dent, fine-​​structure: Shnoll S.
